Sis gave birth to the only princess in our family, after a very painful 20-hour labour. Great work! Welcome, Faith!

PSI Jogja
The air quality in Jogja is really bad. We went to KL for the weekend and I could see stark differences in Dallen's health.
Before we left for the trip, Dallen was recovering from a cough and runny nose. He's had it for a while and was getting better. When we were in KL, he stopped coughing and even the nose stopped running. Less than a day after we got back, he started having runny nose again. This is not the first time this has happened.
We went back to SG in July for slightly more than a month and even though he was about to fall sick at the beginning, it waned and never really took place. For the whole time we were there, he was fine. The day we came back to Jogja, he fell sick. We're talking about a matter of hours, not even days! We touched down in the early afternoon and by early evening, he was already sick. I was amazed!
I really can't wait to get back to SG for good. Really.

Worst Flight Ever!
The day started well and good. Had our breakfast, checked out of the hotel on time and went on our jolly way to the airport. Then everything spiraled out of control.
First, it took us more than an hour to check in one piece of luggage. There were so many passengers travelling to various parts of Indonesia and the ground crew simply could not cope. So there goes our plan to have lunch at the airport before boarding.
So we boarded the plan and started to hear.....thunder! Gosh! Yes, it was raining. And it ain't just a shower. It was heavy rain with lightning. So flight was delayed due to bad weather.
And as if we weren't tired enough, we weren't able to land when we reached Jogja! Weather condition did not allow us to land and we ended up circling and going through turbulence after turbulence. The woman across the aisle started to puke. Then the woman behind us also puked. Before long, I also got rid of that chicken rice I had onboard. Thankfully, Dallen fell asleep. The last thing we need was for him to vomit and be cranky. But lo and behold, Dayen's diaper was so full it leaked and wet the sarong he was in and also my pants in the process. Lavatory was not allowed to be used and there was no way we could change him at our seats through those turbulences. So there I sat, holding him and all the time praying he wouldn't puke!
When we finally touched down, it was still raining. So Dallen was feeling tired and cold and needed comforting which we couldn't provide at that moment. So we did the next best thing and dumped him on Dayen's stroller.
After we finally got home, I fixed a quick dinner cos it's too late to go to the mall. I'm glad I adopted mum's policy of always stocking up food in the fridge. As a mother, never let the fridge be empty. You never know when you need to fix up something. So a quick dinner, 2 loads of laundry, a round of unpacking and a session of tucking the kids in to bed later, here I am sitting on the toilet bowl writing this blog.
I'm exhausted.
