The most loathed period of my year is upon us once again. I really dislike CNY, a period of extreme obligation and waste of time and money. I'm someone who doesn't like to be forced to do something. But being a Chinese entails me to follow certain tradition and since CNY is the most important festival in the Lunar calendar, there's no escaping it. I dislike sitting around "spending time" with people I hardly know and certainly dun care about. I'm very certain the feeling's mutual. So where's the joy and meaning in sitting around wasting time that can otherwise be spent on doing something more meaningful and/or enjoyable?
BIG sigh....
