The past month has been very warm, and very dry. It doesn't help that the haze has returned and on some days, it made breathing laborious and the eyes stung.
So the whole nation is glad that we finally took a break from the dry spell. As soon as the rain started to drop, photos and status updates poured into Facebook. Even the Prime Minister took to the social media on this very occurrence that we used to take for granted.
The dry spell left a lot of our plants extremely dry (see how brown they are in the photos) and fire broke out at several locations. The past month has been rather busy for our SCDF guys.
It's been a wet morning and even Maya the Bee (a programme on Disney Junior) enjoyed the respite!
